Collegiate anglers registering for the nationally televised Big Bass Bash presented by Hydrowave no later than March 1, 2011, will be eligible to win a Garmin Echo fishfinder valued at $400. Garmin will launch the Echo series in early March. Therefore, the lucky angler winning this prize will be one of the very first to have access to the most advanced fish finding technology ever made available by Garmin. The Big Bass Bash presented by Hydrowave features a unique format and a total prize package of more than $25,000. Prizes will be awarded to the anglers weighing the 5 biggest bass each session as well as daily big bass and overall big bass. Weigh-in sessions will be held at 9:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm & 3:00pm both days of the tournament. The angler catching the overall biggest bass of the event will also have a chance to win the $10,000 "Mystery Weight" contingency prize.

The BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship television series will once again be nationally televised with 18 half hours of coverage on the Versus network beginning in August of 2011. Additional coverage of the BoatUS Collegiate Series can be seen on-line via streaming video as well on the World Fishing Network as part of the expanded coverage of this series of events.
