Brass N’ Blades Launches New Product Line with Bill Lowen

Brass N’ Blades Lures announced today that it is partnering with Bassmaster Elite Series angler Bill Lowen to promote its new line of lures.

“We are very pleased to have Bill on our staff. His style of fishing really matches well with our line of products,” said David Nichols, Founder and President of Brass N’ Blades. “Bill is gaining a serious reputation for designing lures, so his expertise in the design process was invaluable.”

“I love to throw a bladed jig. David let me work on designing our Jiggin’ Brass how I like it. It has the best action of any bladed jig I’ve ever thrown,” said Lowen. “The Spinnin’ Brass and Buzzin’ Brass are different than any other blade baits on the market too. I thoroughly believe well-made lures with new designs are just different enough to help people catch more fish.”

Nichols has a background in both the fishing industry and in medical device engineering. “We aim to engineer quality fishing products that are truly more than just another size or shape. Our goal is to provide the finest quality fishing products and pick up where other manufacturers stop. Many products are made the way they have always been made, without looking at the real purpose and function of the baits. We look at all of the products and techniques that fisherman rely on to catch fish and build our baits with perfection in mind,” said Nichols.

The company’s expertise lies with anything made with a blade and a hook. They use a brass head system that not only gets the lead out but provides an enormous amount of freedom in product design. Also unique to Brass N’ Blades is the availability of both single and double hook designs on most models.

Brass N’ Blades will be exhibiting at the 2011 Bassmaster Classic Expo in New Orleans. Dealer inquires may be made via email to or by calling (903) 469-3156. The company has a Facebook page and online store at

Bill Lowen is a three-time Bassmaster Classic qualifier. During his career he has used swim jigs and bladed jigs to achieve numerous high finishes on the Bassmaster Elite Series. Fans are invited to interact with Bill at and through his Facebook page.
