David Seaton Wins BFL Chevy Wild Card On Pickwick Lake

David Seaton of Buchanan, Tenn., caught a 10-bass limit weighing 25 pounds, 1 ounce Oct. 29-30 to win a trip to the 2011 BFL All-American presented by Chevy and $4,779 at the Chevy Wild Card tournament on Pickwick Lake. He was fishing the dam to Trace Bridge with topwater baits to claim victory. The monetary prizes were awarded based on entry in to the optional pot available.

The top six anglers who also qualified for the All-American were:

2nd: Dennis Rhead, Elmwood, Wis., 10 bass, 23-10, $2,389
3rd: Burton Bryan, Sevierville, Tenn., nine bass, 23, $1,807
4th: Brent Anderson, Kingston Springs, Tenn., 10 bass, 22-10, $1,274
5th: Wade Dodgens, Easley, S.C., 10 bass, 22-7, $1,009
6th: Brandon Bolton, West Point, Miss., 10 bass, 21-12, $903

The remaining top 10 were:

7th: Mark Svendsen, Doraville, Ga., six bass, 20-11, $796
8th: Robert Naramore, Hampton, Ga., 10 bass, 20-6, $717
9th: Jay Brewer, Collinwood, Tenn., seven bass, 20-4, $637
10th: Mark Davis, Memphis, Tenn., nine bass, 20-3, $584

Jett Loach of Ringgold, Ga., caught nine bass weighing 23 pounds, 2 ounces Oct. 29-30 to win a trip to the 2011 BFL All-American and $2,367 in the Co-angler Division. He was fishing the dam to Trace Bridge with topwater baits to earn his victory. The monetary prizes were awarded based on entry in to the optional pot available.
