Evinrude Announces the E-Team

Evinrude introduced a team of four anglers at the recent Bassmaster Classic who will serves as official ambassadors to Evinrude outboard engines. Dubbed the E-Team, the group will tour the U.S. over the next 4 months, sharing real experiences and interacting with fans via the new blog, EvinrudeEteam.com, and E-TEAM Facebook, YouTube and Flickr pages.

The E-Team consists of bass pros Guido Hibdon, Chad Brauer and David Walker and walleye pro Paul Meleen.

"The E-TEAM will compliment our efforts to communicate the Evinrude E-TEC benefits of low maintenance and spending more time on the water," said Yves Leduc, VP and GM for the North America division of BRP (Evinrude's parent company. "Through our new E-Team program, we're giving everyone the chance to witness the advantages of Evinrude E-Tec engines first-hand."

The core responsibility of the E-Team will be to blog and post videos and pictures. They will also interact with fans relating to their on-the-water experiences as pro anglers, while pushing Evinrude's products to the limits. The group will debut new technology from the engine manufacturer, provide tips and tricks of the trade and share stories from the water.

"As professionals, we get to spend a lot of time on the water because it's our job," Hibdon said. "But for others, finding time to get out on the lake or river can be tough. Thanks to BRP, we get to give everyone a chance to spend more time on the water, even if they're on dry land."
