James Niggemeyer Signs Two Sponsors

James Niggemeyer, a three-time BASS winner, and 2010 Bassmaster Classic qualifier announces his newest sponsors, along with the details of his boat and truck wraps for the 2010 Bassmaster Elite Series. The 38-year-old pro has reached agreements with two new sponsors, and renewals with two of his existing partners.

Niggemeyer will feature a new graphics package on his Mercury powered Bass Cat this year. Synergy Technologies, a company that manufactures chemicals that kill Salmonella and E. coli bacteria, will be the title sponsor of Niggemeyer’s boat wrap and jersey. His boat will display a blend of brushed aluminum graphics overlaid with a darker colored carbon fiber appearance emblazoned with the orange Synergy Technologies branding.

Former Elite Series pro Randy Allen is a part owner of the Shreveport, La. Company, who offers a revolutionary line of antimicrobial products for industrial, commercial and retail markets. They fill the need for an alternative defense against harmful bacteria we come in contact with everyday. “I am very excited about what Synergy Technologies is doing in the industry and blessed to join them in their efforts to bring the very best to the products to the people,” said Niggemeyer.

St Croix Rods, and Niggemeyer’s 2009 boat wrap sponsor, Bass Tackle Depot.com will team up to provide the backdrop for the wrap on Niggemeyer’s tow vehicle. St Croix has been a part of the Van, Tex. pro’s sponsor team for two years, and will partner with Bass Tackle Depot to provide a synergistic blend of rod company and retail dealer.

The truck will feature St. Croix Mojo Bass purple towards the front of the truck that blends towards the brushed aluminum to tie into the boat wrap. Bass Tackle Depot.com and St Croix will share equal logo space on the vehicle, as well as placement on his jersey.

“St Croix has been engineering the finest rods for over 60 years I am honored to be a part of their longstanding legacy of quality and excellence,” Niggemeyer exclaimed. “I am also equally excited to continue working with a company that provides top quality equipment for today’s anglers, they truly are, where the pros shop.

New to team Niggemeyer in 2010, is a sponsor who actually joined at the tail end of his 2009 campaign, in time to be a significant part of his claiming the Central Open Points Championship, is Bio Edge Fishing. Bio Edge is a Carmel, Maine company who produces natural scents for bait and lures in potion and semi solid wand forms; their logo will be found on his jersey and their products in his boat at the ready.

“Bio Edge is truly the cutting edge of scent,” said Niggemeyer. “They have engineered a series of scents that puts the "real" stamp of approval on all my artificial offerings; I won’t fish plastics or Hardbaits without them.”
Also renewing with Niggemeyer for the 2010 season is Sunline, one of the world’s foremost manufacturers of premium fishing lines; Sunline will be featured on his jersey as well. “Fishing line is my link between lure, rod and reel, which is why I cannot settle for anything less than a premium product from a company dedicated to offering only the best; that is why I choose Sunline,” said Niggemeyer.

Look for Niggemeyer as he competes in his second Bassmaster Classic February 19 – 21 on Lay Lake out of Birmingham, Ala.
