COLUMBIA SPORTSWEAR RETURNS AS OFFICIAL SPORTSWEAR PROVIDER OF THE 2010 BOATU.S. COLLEGIATE BASS FISHING CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES

The BoatU.S. Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Series and Columbia Sportswear Company announced today that Columbia will return as the official sportswear provider of the 2010 series.

Under the sponsorship, Columbia will outfit event staff and on-air television talent with Columbia shirts embroidered with the Association of Collegiate Anglers (ACA) logo. The 2010 BoatU.S. Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship event will feature approximately 300 collegiate anglers from more than 90 colleges and universities throughout the country competing for the most prestigious title in collegiate bass fishing. The event will be held at Lake Lewisville, Texas May 24-28, 2010. The newly created Collegiate Bass Fishing Open will be held at Kentucky Lake in Paris, Tennessee June 21-25, 2010.

Columbia's sponsorship of the 2010 BoatU.S. Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Series includes promotional exposure through televised coverage of events airing on Versus and Fox Sports Net and other co-marketing opportunities on site at the event and online with BoatU.S. Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Series.
