PAA members and fans will have multiple opportunities throughout the year to win OPTIMA Batteries products through online and tournament site promotions.
OPTIMA will sponsor the “OPTIMA Hard Charger Award” for the biggest one-day catch of each tournament in the 2011 Bass Pro Shops PAA Tournament Series
presented by Carrot Stix. The four anglers who capture this honor will be featured on “FishPAA Television” in the OPTIMA Hard Charger segment, as well as online at FishPAA.com.
“As technology in fishing advances with high-demand trolling motors, increasingly complex wide-screen electronics, shallow water anchors and engines with on-board computers, battery technology has to keep up,” said Ryan Hoffins, marketing manager for OPTIMA Batteries. “We are partnering with the PAA to help demonstrate that OPTIMA BlueTop batteries, with patented Spiralcell technology, deliver the cranking power, cycle life and reserve capacity that serious anglers need to be successful on the water.”
OPTIMABlueTop batteries are dual-purpose, providing the cycling ability your boat demands while maintaining the cranking ability it needs. All OPTIMA batteries have patented Spiralcell technology and are maintenance-freewith tightly sealed cells that allow mounting in multiple positions without leaking or damaging your boat. BlueTops allow more running time and up to three times more recharges than what you would get out of a traditional battery.
“We’re excited to welcome OPTIMA Batteries as our newest Premier Sponsor of the Bass Pro Shops PAA Tournament Series,” said Danny Blandford, PAA Program Director. “Their complete line of batteries, including the BlueTop series used by anglers, is known for rugged durability and peak performance on the road and on the water.
“The PAA staff will be using OPTIMA batteries, the ultimate power source, this season to power our PAA electrical equipment and weigh-in tanks. Our anglers and fans rely on our ability to provide the information immediately and online, and also to keep fish alive during weigh-ins for successful release. OPTIMA batteries definitely will help us succeed in all areas this season.”
PAA members and fans will have the opportunity to win OPTIMA Batteries products this season during promotions and will receive discounts through the OPTIMA webpage in the PAA Affinity Partner section of FishPAA.com.
