BoatUS Angler "Weigh-to-Win" Program Brings Bonus Cash to Classic

Thanks to the recently launched BoatUS Angler "Weigh-to-Win" program, several Bassmaster Classic competitors will have the chance to get a little richer beyond the fruitful $500,000 first-place prize. The highest finishing eligible "Weigh-to-Win" Bassmaster Classic competitor will haul home $1,500 cash from New Orleans, and regular season Elite Series events will pay $500.

"Weigh-to-Win" is a cash contingency program for BoatUS Angler members ranging from weekend warriors to pros that compete in B.A.S.S., FLW, PAA and the BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship. BoatUS Angler represents America's oldest and largest association of boat owning anglers, offering members the largest towing fleet with 24/7 towing dispatch assistance and insurance for when the unexpected happens on the road and water.

So far, a dozen Bassmaster Elite Series competitors have purchased a very affordable annual BoatUS Angler membership and signed-up for "Weigh-to-Win," including John Crews, Randy Howell, Gary Klein, Russ Lane, Mike McClelland, Ish Monroe, Matt Reed, Skeet Reese, Terry Scroggins, Gerald Swindle, Dennis Tietje and Kevin VanDam.

Kyle Fox became the first-ever "Weigh-to-Win" winner when he finished fifth at a Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Weekend Series event on the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes in Florida. Fox won $150 cash from his $38 membership to BoatUS Angler and "Weigh-to-Win."

Bassmaster Elite Series angler Terry "Big Show" Scroggins puts the BoatUS Angler "Weigh-to Win" program in perspective. "You might think $1,500 is chump change compared to the $500,000 first place prize, but I'd call it a dang good deal. For a $38 BoatUS Angler membership, I can win $1,500 if I do well in New Orleans, and that will buy me about 480 gallons of boat gas for my Triton, or one heck of a bunch of trips to the sushi bar for dinner out there on the road. That's real money, plus the peace of mind to know BoatUS Angler will send somebody to come get me if I'm stranded along my Elite Series travels this year. Hey, that alone is worth $38."

Getting signed-up for Weigh-to-Win is simple. Go to www.BoatUSFishing.com or call them at (877) 584-2628 to purchase an affordable BoatUS Angler membership, and one or both of the following towing services: Unlimited On-the-Road Towing (Trailer Assist) or Unlimited On-the-Water Towing. Then, plug your membership number into the Weigh-to-Win registration form, and you're ready to fish, win and have "peace of mind."
