BoatUS Angler Provides Collegiate Anglers a New "Weigh" to Win

As a sanctioned event within the BoatUS Angler Weigh-to-Win incentive program, the BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship event will provide eligible collegiate anglers the opportunity to substantially increase their winnings. The highest placing eligible team, finishing in the top 50% of the field, will win $1,000!

"To complement our support of the BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Series, we are excited to sanction the Championship tournament as part of the Weigh-to-Win program and award $1,000 to the highest placing eligible team," said Steve Levi of BoatUS Angler.

This exciting new incentive program also provides collegiate anglers opportunities to win in numerous other sanctioned events. Click here for program details as well as a complete list of sanctioned events.

"Collegiate bass fishing simply would not be where it is today without the support of BoatUS," said Wade Middleton, BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship program director. "The new BoatUS Angler Weigh-to-Win program is another example of their ongoing commitment to support collegiate anglers."

The BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship television series will once again be nationally televised with 18 half hours of coverage on the Versus network beginning in August of 2011. Additional coverage of the BoatUS Collegiate Series can be seen on-line via streaming video as well on the World Fishing Network as part of the expanded coverage of this series of events.
