Association of Collegiate Anglers Announces 2011 Incentive Program

The Association of Collegiate Anglers (ACA) announced today that anglers competing in the BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Series will have the opportunity to win incentive awards at events sanctioned by the ACA.

In order to be eligible to win the awards, anglers must display the official BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Series logo on their jerseys. If eligible, the team winning the BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship will be awarded $1,000 in addition to all other winnings. If the winning team is not eligible, the highest finishing eligible team will receive $500.

Additionally, the team winning the Collegiate Bass Fishing Open presented by Pepsi and the angler winning the Big Bass Bash will be awarded $500. If the winners are not eligible, the highest finishing eligible team/angler will receive $250.

"The Association of Collegiate Anglers plays an integral part in helping collegiate anglers establish fishing clubs on college campuses nationwide," said Wade Middleton, Tournament Director. "The ACA also provides support for established clubs in areas such as club sponsored collegiate bass tournaments, fund raising and club organization."
