NEW TOURNAMENT CLASS PERFORMA BAITCASTERS MAKE PROFESSIONAL-GRADE PERFORMANCE AFFORDABLE

Pinnacle’s new all-metal, incredibly smooth Tournament Class Performa™ baitcasters offer bass anglers the highest levels of precision, durability and performance without the high price tag. Pinnacle picked the brains of its accomplished pro staffers – Paul Elias, Dave Wolak, Britt Myers and Grant Goldbeck – to create each Performa reel, incorporating their collective angling expertise into the design and development process. Serious bass fisherman can choose between Performa XLT, XT and X models, according to their specific needs, preferences and budgets. With a variety of gear ratios available, including 7.0:1, 6.3:1 and 4.7:1 retrieve, there’s a Performa ideal for handling any bass-fishing application.

Like all Tournament Class Performa baitcasters, the Performa XLT features a durable, yet lightweight, X-Bone™ metal frame, as well as metal side covers. The side covers are coated with a handsome “electric blue” Titanium Deposition (Titanium Nitride) finish that not only looks great, but also protects against nicks and scratches. Pinnacle’s exclusive X- Bone™ pattern frame distributes the amount of critical stress equally to four points (like a car chassis), ideally compensating for the entire weight load. The X-Bone frame design and metal side plates also make for a rigid, torque-resistant housing that keeps the gears perfectly aligned at all times.

Strategically positioned within the Performa XLT’s rugged housing are 10 stainless steel bearings (nine double-shielded ball bearings plus a roller bearing) for unsurpassed smoothness and reliability. A high speed 7.0:1 gear ratio lets you cover large areas of water quickly or retrieve slack line in a flash. Unparalleled castability is ensured by an externally adjustable magnetic braking system, specially engineered to keep backlash in check. When you hook up, the Performa XLT’s Multi-Stack Drag with carbon fiber washers provides consistent, reliable fish-stopping pressure, while high-strength brass gearing and a durable curved aluminum handle deliver plenty of cranking power.

Pinnacle’s Performa XT baitcaster has nine stainless steel ball bearings (eight double-shielded ball bearings and a roller bearing), X-Bone metal frame construction and metal side covers, plus all of the “Tournament Class” features that come standard on the Performa XLT baitcaster. The side covers on the Performa XT feature a “black chrome” Titanium Deposition finish, however, and this reel is offered with either a versatile 6.3:1 or a super powerful 4.7:1 gear ratio.

Professional-grade quality and performance at an even lower price is available in Pinnacle’s Performa X baitcaster. This model is equipped with eight stainless steel bearings (seven double shielded ball bearings plus a roller bearing) and many of the same features as the Performa XT and XLT models, including a high-strength metal X-Bone frame. The Performa X also features metal side plates, but without the Titanium Deposition finish.

Additional Performa features (standard on all Performa baitcasters), include Unlimited Anti-Reverse™, an audible star drag, and a QuickRelease™ side cover. Pinnacle’s Tournament Class Performa XLT has an MSRP of $149.99, while the Performa XT and Performa X reels retail for $129.99 (MSRP) and $109.99 (MSRP), respectively.
