Today marks the first major personnel change at BASS since new ownership assumed control of the organization this week.
Communications director Doug Grassian has opted to leave BASS and accept a position in Florida with Goodyear, where he'll manage marketing and public relations behind the Goodyear Blimp.

"Ultimately, this new opportunity provides creative freedom, an opportunity to work with an iconic entity and the ability to work with first-rate events - in other words, not a whole lot will change from BASS. I'm looking forward to keeping up with BASS events and watching the business thrive."
Jamie Wilkinson will oversee BASS communications in the interim. Wilkinson formerly served as communications director before he was promoted to senior director of event operations and business development.
