Top Bass Pros to Give Free Seminars After PAA Bass Pro Shops Tournament Series Registration

Some of the nation’s top professional anglers, including 4-time Bassmaster Classic champion Rick Clunn and 2010 Toyota Texas Bass Classic champion Brian Snowden, will give free seminars Oct. 13 at Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, Mo.

The seminars will begin at 5:30 p.m. following official registration for the final event of the PAA Bass Pro Shops Tournament Series presented by Carrot Stix. The tournament will be Oct. 14-16 on Table Rock Lake. Some of the top professional anglers in the country will be competing and will be at registration from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at Bass Pro Shops.

Fans are encouraged to come meet the pros for autographs and photos during registration and also visit with PAA Tournament Series sponsors in the store. Then, stick around for the free seminars as the pros discuss a variety of tactics, strategies and answer questions from fans.

The seminar schedule:

5:30 p.m.– Fred Roumbanis of Oklahoma, PAA Tour and Bassmaster Elite Series pro
5:50 p.m.– Mark Rose of Arkansas, PAA Tour and FLW Tour member
6:10 p.m.– Stacey King and Brian Snowden, both of Missouri; King is a PAA Tour member, Bassmaster Elite Series pro, 12-time Bassmaster Classic qualifier and member of the Bass Pro Shops/Nitro pro staff. Snowden is a PAA Tour member, Bassmaster Elite Series pro and the 2010 Toyota Texas Bass Classic champion
6:30 p.m.– Rick Clunn of Missouri, PAA Tour member, Bassmaster Elite Series pro, four-time Bassmaster Classic champion, two-time U.S. Open champion, 1988 BASS Angler of the Year

The PAA Tournament Series event on Table Rock begins Thursday morning. Launches will be from Table Rock State Park each day at 7 a.m., and the first two days’ weigh-ins will be at 3 p.m. at the state park. The final-day weigh-in will be at the Branson Landing Fountain at 4:30 p.m., preceded by free seminars at Bass Pro Shops at Branson Landing starting at noon.

Tournament facts: The tournament is the final one of the season in the 2010 PAA Bass Pro Shops Tournament Series presented by Carrot Stix. The winner will earn a prize package worth more than $45,000 including cash and a new Nitro Z-8 powered by a Mercury Optimax 225hp engine and outfitted with a T-H Marine Atlas Jackplate. Eligible anglers also may benefit from the Bass Pro Shops Tournament Rewards and Phoenix Boats First Flight bonus payout programs.
Morning launches at 7 a.m. and the first two days’ weigh-in will be at Table Rock State Park in Branson. Saturday’s final weigh-in featuring the top 30 pros will be held at the Branson Landing Fountain in Branson.All launches and weigh-ins are free and open to the public. Free seminars will be held at Bass Pro Shops at Branson Landing beginning at noon prior to the Saturday weigh-in.
