Pinnacle Fishing, a subsidiary of Silstar Corp., continues its push into higher-end tournament-grade tackle and this week announced a new sales chief. Adrian Dare is the company's new sales VP.
Dare's an industry veteran with more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience. He served most recently as national-sales/product-development manager at HYI USA. Prior to that appointment, Dare worked at Daiwa for 17 years, where he started off as customer-service manager and later served as product-development manager, regional-sales manager and special-markets manager.
In his new role with Silstar, Dare will manage the sales program, oversee all regional sales-rep groups, service key accounts and help develop new business nationwide.
Silstar president Charles Park noted: "With the launch of our new Pinnacle Tournament Class reels and rods, Adrian couldn't be joining our company at a better time. His considerable sales experience, skills and industry contacts will be instrumental in our continued growth and success."
Dare will be based at Silstar's headquarters in Tustin, Calif.
