Each of the Maui Jim nylon styles is available with either Maui Evolution® or SuperThin (ST) Glass lens materials. Maui Evolution is a proprietary lens material, harnessing the best properties of SuperThin glass and Polycarbonate lenses. It offers superior optics, scratch resistance and impact resistance in a lightweight package. SuperThin Glass lenses are 20 percent thinner and lighter than conventional laminated glass lenses (1.8 vs. 2.2 mm). ST Glass provides superior optics, durability and scratch resistance without the weight.
