Six models of River Runner are offered, from the diminutive 5’8” ultra light to a 7’6” light. These spinning rods have the sensitive feel needed for the discriminatory rainbow and the backbone for controlling the hard pulling browns, giving the best performance for all trout fishing techniques.
The graphite blanks are complemented with the Fenwick Development System Technology that includes Sea Guide Titanium Frame single-foot guides with light weight SIC inserts. The split hidden handle design has a cork foregrip and TAC rubber/cork rear grip with a hook keeper in front of the reel seat.
Two ultra light River Runners are available, a one-piece 5’8” model and a two-piece 6’8” UL. Both are rated for 2- to 6-pound test monofilament and lure weights of 1/32 to 3/16 ounces. The two-piece 6’2” Super Light Model is rated for 1- to 4-pound test and lures of 1/32- to 1/8-ounce. The three light action rods are all two piece. The 6’8” and 7’2” models are rated for 4 to 8-pound test line and lures of 1/32 to 5/16 ounces. The 7’6” light action is rated for 2- to 6-pound test line and lures weighing 1/32 to 3/16 ounces.
These rods are designed for trout but all anglers that appreciate light action fishing will enjoy these new Fenwick rods as well.
