WHAT: FLW Outdoors will host a National Guard Soldier Appreciation Walleye Tournament
WHO: Members of the North Dakota National Guard will be teamed with FLW Walleye Tour pros
WHEN: Tuesday, July 27; takeoff is at 8 a.m. Weigh-in is at 3 p.m.
Where: Devils Lake, Woodland Resort, Devils Lake, N.D.
NOTES: Each of the participants in the National Guard Soldier Appreciation Tournament are members of the North Dakota National Guard and most have had at least one tour of duty in Iraq or Afghanistan. In this tournament, FLW Walleye Tour pro anglers take teams of two National Guard members fishing to compete amongst their peers. Each team is allowed to bring in three walleyes. FLW Outdoors is operating the tournament in conjunction with the National Guard to show appreciation to our service members of the National Guard.
UPDATE: FLW Walleye Tour will begin on Thursday, July 29 at Devils Lake, Woodland Resort, Devils Lake, N.D. Take Offs will be daily at 7:00 a.m. Weigh-ins on Thursday and Friday will begin at 3 p.m. also at the marina. Saturday’s final weigh-in will be at Lake Chevrolet, 123 5th Street NE, Devils Lake, beginning at 4:00 p.m.
