Bob Salotti Wins BFL at Lake Cayuga

Bob Salotti of Geneva, New York, caught a 5-bass limit weighing 19 pounds, 10 ounces Saturday, July 24, 2010 to win $5,386 in the FLW BFL Northeast Division tournament on Lake Cayuga. Under mostly cloudy skies Salotti was throwing tubes in the weeds mid-lake to sack his limit.

Robert Parmer Jr. of Linden, Pa., caught a 5-bass limit weighing 16 pounds Saturday, July 24, 2010 to win $1,693 in the FLW BFL Northeast Co-angler Division on Lake Cayuga. He was using Pop-R Rebels mid-lake to catch his limit.

The next BFL Northeast Division tournament is scheduled for Aug. 21, at Oneida Lake in Brewerton, N.Y. After the fifth Northeast Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Regional Championship at the Potomac River in Marbury, Md., on Oct. 7-9, for a chance to win a 198VX Ranger boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
