F3 Partners With National Environmental Education Week

National Environmental Education Week (EE Week, www.eeweek.org) connects educators with resources to promote K-12 students' understanding of the environment. This is the nation's largest environmental education event, slated this year for April 11-17.

The Future Fisherman Foundation has joined forces with EE Week again to celebrate this week of environmental learning. Your school or organization can participate any number of ways, such as:

* Hosting a clean-up event at a local lake or stream
* Incorporating Hooked on Fishing activities into that week's lesson plans
* Monitoring water quality of lakes and streams in a local watershed
* Inviting water-quality professionals to speak with your students about local water issues.

Registered schools and organizations receive certificates of participation, free online resources, information on professional development and funding opportunities, and access to discounts and special offers on educational materials just for EE Week participants. Register today at www.eeweek.org/register or learn more by contacting EE Week at eeweek@neefusa.org.
