Elite Series pro Vince Fulks, recently unveiled his new sponsor and boat wrap for the 2010 season. The Oklahoma pro, competing in his second year on tour, will be running a Zipper Worm Company wrap.
Fulks is excited about the opportunity to represent a company with ties to the Sooner state, since Zipper Worms was recently purchased by Curt Johnston out of Enid, Oklahoma.
“I actually had met Curt years ago when I was still in high-school,” explained Fulks. “I didn’t know him very well but when we started talking recently, everything just came together,” he said.
“It’s a product that was hot in the mid 90’s and the marketing side died off. It’s still a hot bait on the West Coast and a great product. I’m ready to get out there and fling a Zipper.”
Currently, Fulks is working with Zipper on a hand-poured 10” worm which he plans on using at Kentucky Lake. He also expects the Monkey Bug creature bait be a big part of his arsenal at the California Delta and Arkansas River.
