Phoenix Boats Reaffirms Commitment to PAA

Phoenix Boats has reaffirmed its commitment to the Professional Anglers Association as an associate sponsor of the 2010 PAA Bass Pro Shops Tournament Series presented by Carrot Stix, and the Official Boat of the PAA.

Phoenix Boats, based in Tullahoma, Tenn., joined the PAA in 2009. Phoenix Boats will be the official boat of the PAA and have opportunities to showcase its series of boats, pro staff and retail promotions throughout the year.

“I was a fisherman before I was a boat-builder,” said Gary Clouse, president and founder of Phoenix Boats. “I understand and realize the needs of the PAA. It’s a great organization and definitely is here to stay with a bright future.”

Phoenix Boats has four models in its lineup including the 721 ProXP, 719 ProXP, 619 Pro and 618 Pro. They are rated for 150 hp to 250 hp outboard engines and have a variety of design features for today’s competitive or recreational angler. Phoenix 721 ProXP models will be awarded to the winners of the PAA Bass Pro Shops Tournament Series events at Lake Cherokee and Lake Tawakoni.

“The PAA is new to some degree, like we are, but the folks involved aren’t new to bass fishing just like we’re not new to boat-building,” Clouse said. “We’re just a couple of new companies on the rise and I believe there are ways we can grow together.”

About Phoenix Boats: Phoenix Boats is headquartered in Tullahoma, Tenn., in a modern 50,000-square foot facility located on 10 acres. It has the four models in the Phoenix series and five in the Beeline series. For more information visit www.phoenixbassboats.com
