Jason Grape Wins BFL at Percy Priest Lake

Jason Grape of Rainbow City, Ala., caught three bass weighing 7 pounds, 12 ounces Saturday to earn $3,641 as the winning boater in the BFL Music City Division tournament on Percy Priest Lake.

Co-angler Jeff Emerton of Hilham, Tenn., caught one bass weighing 5 pounds, 13 ounces to win $1,820 in the BFL Mississippi Division event at Ross Barnett Reservoir.

Coming up

The next BFL Music City Division tournament is scheduled for March 27 at Center Hill Lake in Sparta, Tenn. After the completion of five Music City Division tournaments, the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers in the points standings will qualify for the Oct. 14-16 Regional Championship at Lake Guntersville in Scottsboro, Ala., where boaters will compete for a Ranger 198VX powered by a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard plus a Chevy pick-up, and co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
