Dustin Wilks of Rocky Mount, North Carolina has secured a place on the Secret Weapon Lures® Pro Angler roster for 2010. Wilks’ first mission was to completely overhaul Secret Weapon’s Assassinator™ series of spinnerbait and buzzbaits.
Wilks said, “Secret Weapon challenged me to upgrade Assassinator’s performance—even the Clacker™, a unique big-bass bait.” He revamped every detail in creating the new Pro Assassinator™ line. “Each aspect of Pro Assassinator is first class. From strong, sharp Mustad hooks to wire diameter—everything is perfect.”
Wilks retained the most popular Assassinator models while introducing extraordinary new patterns like Bull Bream, Natural Shad, and Sunfish.”
Anglers gearing up for early spring rains are paying special attention to his signature pattern, Dustin’s Mud Secret. “Man, I really hated to let that one out,” admitted Wilks. “It’s the best color combination I’ve ever used in high and muddy conditions.”
