Rookie Matt Greenblatt signs four Sponsors

Matt Greenblatt of Tequesta, Fla. is about to embark on his rookie Bassmaster Elite Series campaign, and the Northern Open qualifier had a busy few weeks. He buffered his sponsor portfolio and yesterday closed the deal with four sponsors.

Backing Greenblatt this year will be: Element 21, XtremeLureCreations.com, Yamamoto Custom Baits, Ardent, Power-Pole and Costa Del Mar.

e21 and its Carrot Stix line of rods will serve as his title sponsor. "I've used the Carrot Stix since they first hit the market and immediately fell in love with the balance and feel the rods offer," Greenblatt said. "When the time came for me to form a partnership with a rod manufacturer, e21 was first on my list. I knew it was their fishing rods that helped me get to the largest stage that bass fishing has to offer in the Elite Series, so to me, it was a perfect match. I'm very excited about the new things e21's doing and truly feel the company has a good grasp on what anglers need and want."

XtremeLureCreations.com is a Georgia-based company that "takes good crankbaits and makes them unbelievable," Greenblatt said. He refers to owner Rob Jordan as "the Picasso of crankbaits."

"In addition to e21 and XtremeLureCreations.com, I've been fortunate enough to partner with Yamamoto Custom Baits, Ardent Reels and Costa Del Mar," Greenblatt added. "All three companies have been part of the backbone of fishing for years. I'm so excited for this season, as it's been something I've wanted my entire life. I have the finest backing in the industry and now I just want to jump in my boat and catch fish."
