Phoenix Boats Introduces 618 Pro

Gary Clouse, President of Phoenix Boats, announced today that they will introduce the fourth model in the Phoenix lineup at the Bassmaster Classic on February 20th. "We understand the need for a 18 foot boat that has the same features of the bigger 20 and 21 foot boats, says Clouse. "And the Classic is the perfect place to launch it."

The 618 Pro is 18’ 6" in length, with a wide 94" beam. "Its design is the same as its larger brother, the 721 Pro XP which was introduced at the Classic in 2009," adds Clouse. The 618 Pro has a 150 HP rating and touts the same running surface as the 721 Pro XP, which has been the most talked about boat since its launch. "These boats are re-defining design, performance, and fishability," says Clouse, "and the Diamond Vee hull design insures a superb on-plane time, superior turning capabilities and excellent top-end speed."

The 618 Pro is a boat that looks, performs, and has many of the same standard features as the 721 Pro XP, including the under-seat net storage, rotating tackle system and removable passenger console, but at a much more affordable price. "And, as all Phoenix Boats, the all-composite construction includes AME 500 resins and superior knit-type fiberglass cloth, adds Clouse. "I would suggest anyone who is interested in a new bass boat this year take a look at this boat. You can own this rig standard equipped with a 150HP motor for under $30k !"
