ABA Signs Busch and Busch Light

American Bass Anglers (ABA) announced today that BUSCH and BUSCH Light have signed on as the official beer sponsors of the ABA, continuing the BUSCH brand’s support of the outdoor lifestyle with an on-site presence at the Bassmaster Weekend Series.

The sponsorship will cover five events: The Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Weekend Series operated by American Bass Anglers, the American Fishing Tour National Championship, the American Couples Series Championship, the Annual Military Team Tournament and the American Bass Anglers BBQ Tour.

“Our bass tournament venues have the same footprint and provide the exposure sponsors like BUSCH are looking for,” said David Hagood, vice president of American Bass Anglers. “We appreciate BUSCH beers’ history of support for anglers and are excited to forge a new partnership.”

As part of the sponsorship, BUSCH and the ABA will also introduce new consumer programs throughout the season to strengthen the partnership.

“The ABA sponsorship is an ideal fit for the BUSCH brand,” said Charlie Hodges, brand manager, BUSCH beers. “Having a presence at Bassmaster Weekend Series events provides us with a great opportunity to connect with ABA members, and through several upcoming initiatives we will be able to broaden our reach to bass anglers nationwide.”
